Hurricane Ike hits Cincy
We thought we lived in the hurricane free midwest. We were wrong. School has been cancled for 3 days. Our brother and sister-in-law have been without power for 4 days. It’s been a whirlwind, literally.

With the help of all our neighbors we were able to clean everything up in 9 hours on Monday. Needless to say, I’m baking them all cookies!!!

The piles in our neighborhood were all picked up yesterday. Have you been able to clean everything up around your neighborhood? Are things getting back to “normal?”
